The practice holds weekly midwife led ante natal clinics. The midwives work closely with the doctors at the Surgery. Also the local midwife team provide ante natal and post natal visits throughout the community. The doctors are happy to provide shared ante natal care with the local hospitals.
From the eighth week of pregnancy patients should fill in a self referral form Maternity Self Referral form and email it to the relevant department below:

Currently the department of Health screening service sends invitations for women to attend for screening every 3 years -if aged over 24 and under 49years, and every 5 years -if over 49 and under 65 years.
For all patients over 70 years.
For female patients over 50 years and under 70 years of age.

Loughview will not be running any further Covid Spring booster vaccination clinics. Local pharmacies and vaccination centres continue to provide Covid vaccinations for patients aged 75 and over. There is no charge for the vaccination.
